What are trees (wood) trying to tell me about the working mechanisms of the universe?

Bleeding knots are a natural phenomenon producing marks and stained on painted wood.

The logical understanding of the phenomenon is to

It is difficult to find out an elaborate explanation for knot bleeding, everyone is obsessed with erasing them.

Sap gets released when there's been produced an incision or cut in the tree. As opposed to humans, 'plants' blood' travels upwards against gravity without needing a pumping system. Even though this phenomenom is nowadays explained by physic science, it seems unreal.

I like to flip the direction of the sap in order and imagine its way up outside the

design as a tool for comparison
